Wound Assessment and Evaluation

wound assessment

The assessment process assists in clinical decision making and guiding appropriate treatment. Each patient will undergo an evaluation and assessment of your wound(s).  This will include taking a past medical and surgical history, history of the wound, etiology (if known), measurements, photographs and special testing.  Some of this special testing may include vascular screens, sensation testing, nutritional status and creation of goals for treatment.
